AHEC Medical Faculty Day: 2010 Event # 29660 What Can I Expect? The twelfth annual UNC AHEC Medical Faculty Day will be held on Friday, April 30, at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that because we have so many important initiatives underway that involve AHEC faculty, we are expanding the format from previous years. We will start the day with a plenary seminar from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are working to confirm a national plenary speaker. We will also use the morning session to discuss the planned expansion of the UNC School of Medicine, current curriculum issues, as well as plans for the upcoming ICME site visit. As is our normal custom, departmental meetings will be held in the afternoon from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. The chairs are responsible for the agenda of the departmental meetings, in collaboration with liaisons and AHEC clinical chiefs. A $60.00 registration fee will be required from each participant payable at time of registration. This fee will cover all on-site costs for the meeting.
