Event # 30525

What Can I Expect?

The challenge confronting healthcare professionals, who care for premature infants and their families, is not only to assure the infants' survival, but also to optimize their developmental course and outcome. This workshop is designed to assist those healthcare providers to provide care in a way that is sensitive and individualized to each infant and to best support their development and meet their special needs. Areas of focus are NIDCAP, Kangaroo Care, therapeutic positioning and feeding, and healing touch for patients and staff.
